Pure Pennsylvania Maple Syrup
Since 1993, one sweet batch at a time.
A family sugar camp in Somerset County. Boiled fresh every spring, poured into every bottle, and served in a creemee cone all summer long.
Our story
From a boy of nine to 16,500 taps.
Kyle was nine when he found a sugar keeler in his grandfather's basement. He asked what it was for — and got taken out to see. They say it got in his blood. Boiling in the kitchen. Then over a fire held by a tripod. Then a little camp in the woods. In 2009, we built the sugar camp you can visit today — installing the evaporator before we put up the walls.
Today Kyle and Rebecca, their three kids, Kyle's dad Russ and brother Brandon tend the family's 16,500 taps across four pump-houses. It's still a family thing.
